The company is carrying out the project entitled "Introduction to production by Metikam-Stone Kulbida, Świderski sp.j. of elements constituting the result of R&D works including the development of an innovative vacuum lift higher-resistance suction cup foot.” The project aims to diversify the company's activity, which will result in the introduction to the offer of new products representing the result of the research and development works. The recipients of the products will be mainly companies from the metal and stone industries.

In case of obtaining positive research results and developing a new type of suction cup foot for our products, the company will be able to manufacture considerably lighter vacuum lifters while maintaining their high durability.
Total value of the project: 3 981 510,00 PLN
Eligible expenses: 3 233 000,00 PLN
Grant amount: 1 293 200 PLN
The investment will be implemented in the period from May 2019 to April 2020.

The project will be implemented by Metikam Świderski spółka jawna. The project aims to diversify the company's activity, which will result in the introduction to the offer of new services based on service and process innovativeness - laser hardening of non-standard elements and low-volume processing. The recipients of the services will be companies from the metal industry.
The project covers:- purchase of a laser hardening machine
- purchase of a lathe
Total project cost: 4 920 000,00 PLN
Eligible costs: 4 000 000,00 PLN.
Grant amount: 1 600 000 PLN
The location of the investment is in Żarów (poviat świdnicki).
The investment is carried out in the period from July 2018 to September 2019.

2018
The project consists of research and development work, as part of which the following tests are commissioned:
- Investigating the possibility of using such materials as: aluminum, aircraft aluminum with much higher strength, carbon in construction of lifters
- Checking materials for tightness of the vacuum system
- Testing the strength properties of the materials used
The scope of works will include:
- Preliminary welding tests
- Selection of technological parameters
- Metallographic tests (macroscopic examination)
- Testing of mechanical properties: tensile strength, tearing tests
- Preparation of a report on project implementation.

2016
The project consists in the implementation of an innovative structure made of aircraft aluminum, characterized by many properties and used for lifting and moving objects with a weight of max. 1500 kg or 1000 kg, in two product versions: with a 4 or 5 meter rail.
Manufacturing of the above described construction requires specialized equipment using laser technology, which will be purchased as part of this project. Laser cutting equipment has advantages in the field of treatment of various types of sheet metal, both thin and thick, making the machine suitable for the production of a variety of components and perfectly suited for the production of an innovative construction of aircraft aluminum.
Thanks to the implementation of the project presented for co-financing, the company will diversify its existing offer, which will directly result in an increase in the number of customers and, consequently, an increase in sales and revenues.
The main objective of the project is to launch an innovative product (introduction to the market of product and process innovation) and increase the competitiveness and revenue growth of the Applicant as a result of the investment.
This goal will be achieved through the implementation of detailed objectives, such as:- purchase of specialized equipment using laser technology in the number of 1 pcs.
- obtaining support and subsidies by Metikam-Stone in order to launch a new product on the market
- hiring a new employee responsible for handling the purchased machine in the number of 1 FTE
